Welcome to the website of the 2020 Agree to Disagree Workshop on Argumentation and Conflict Resolution organized by the ICR research group at the University of Luxembourg.

The world is riddled with uncertainty and conflicting information, yet humans manage to go about their daily lives without their minds getting stuck in a deadlock. Some conflicts may be left unresolved, when the two parties "agree to disagree", thereby tolerating the other's point of view without agreeing to it. Trying to model and implement these various aspects of human reasoning is therefore one of the most prominent challenges in Artificial Intelligence.

In this workshop, we explore different aspects of conflict resolution, with a focus on argumentation and legal reasoning.
