History
LAMAS 2010 was intended to be the first workshop on logical aspects of agent systems. However, Hans van Ditmarsch had pointed out to us that there were already two events with the same acronym (and pretty much the same subject coverage). It even turned out that we shared an invited speaker with the first edition of Hans's LAMAS!
We liked the idea of suddenly having some history behind us, and hence happily upgraded the 2010 LAMAS from 1st to 3rd.
The history of LAMAS includes the following events so far:
- LAMAS: 1st Workshop on Logic And Multi-Agent Systems, October 29 and 30, 2002, Dunedin, New Zealand. Invited speakers: Wiebe van der Hoek and Ron van der Meyden.
- LAMAS2: 2nd Workshop on Logic And Multi-Agent Systems, 15 and 16 February 2007, Dunedin, New Zealand. Invited speakers: Enrico Franconi and Guido Governatori.
- LAMAS3: 3rd Workshop on Logic Aspects of Multi-Agent Systems, 11 May 2010, Toronto, Canada. Invited speakers: Wiebe van der Hoek en Leon van der Torre.
- LAMAS4: 4rd Workshop on Logic Aspects of Multi-Agent Systems, 11 November 2011, Osuna, Spain. Invited speakers: Andreas Herzig.
